All GARED s.r.o. products are guaranteed for 24 months from the date of delivery. The guarantee of ballistic and impact resistance is 5 years if the instructions for use, storage and maintenance are followed, including the warranty card.
Unless otherwise stated on the delivery or warranty card, the warranty for new goods delivered is 24 months. For a buyer who is a consumer, the warranty period for all consumer goods is always at least 24 months. The warranty period shall commence from the date the goods are handed over to the buyer or end user at the time of sale. The warranty period for the goods delivered shall be extended by the period during which the product has been under warranty repair. In exercising the warranty, the buyer who is a consumer:
· if the defect is removable, the right to free, proper and timely removal of the defect, the right to replacement of the defective goods or defective parts, if this is not disproportionate due to the nature of the defect, and if such a procedure is not possible, the right to a reasonable discount on the purchase price or to withdraw from the purchase contract.
· if it is an irremovable defect preventing the proper use of the goods, the right to replace the defective goods or to withdraw from the purchase contract.
· in the case of removable defects occurring in large numbers or repeatedly and preventing the proper use of the goods, the right to replace the defective goods or to withdraw from the purchase contract.
· in the case of other irremediable defects and if it does not request replacement of the item, the right to a reasonable discount on the purchase price or to withdraw from the purchase contract.
If the product is replaced within the warranty period, the warranty is reinstated in full. In such a case, the buyer will be issued a new warranty certificate by the supplier, with a new serial number and serial number. Further claims, if any, will be made on the basis of this new warranty certificate.
In the event of failure or manufacturing defect of the goods within the warranty period, the place of claim shall be the supplier's premises.
The buyer may make a claim either in person at the company's premises or by written claim and delivery of the claimed goods by post to the address (see contact details).
The buyer is obliged to attach a precise description of the defects and their manifestations to the claimed goods, if the claim was sent by post, as well as the relevant sales document for the claimed goods, warranty certificate or other document related to the claimed goods. In the event of a complaint, the supplier can be contacted at the contact point listed below (see contact details).
If the complaint is accepted as justified, the goods will be sent to the buyer at the supplier's expense. In the event of an acknowledged claim, the consumer buyer is also entitled to reimbursement of all necessary costs for the claim. If the conditions for withdrawal from the contract for reasons attributable to the supplier are met, the consumer is entitled to reimbursement of any consideration paid.
The supplier will decide on the complaint immediately, in complex cases within 3 working days. This time limit does not include the reasonable time required for professional assessment of the defect according to the type of product or service required for professional assessment of the defect. Complaints including defects shall be settled without undue delay, at the latest within 30 calendar days from the date of the complaint, unless otherwise agreed between the Supplier and the Purchaser. After the expiry of this period, the buyer-consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract or exchange the item.
The Supplier shall issue the Buyer-Consumer with a written confirmation (complaint report) stating when the Buyer-Consumer made the complaint, what its content is and what method of its settlement is required.
The warranty period is valid provided that the storage conditions and the conditions specified in the instructions for use, maintenance and care of the goods, including the warranty certificate, are observed. The warranty does not cover changes in the properties of the materials due to mechanical damage.
The warranty period starts after the goods have been handed over and accepted. It shall be interrupted for the duration of the repair (i.e. from the date of notification of the defect up to and including the date of repair).
Warranty defects shall be repaired or rectified by the Seller or the relevant repairer free of charge within 30 days from the date of delivery of the goods for repair.
A warranty defect is a defect that becomes apparent during the warranty period and is duly reported to the Seller or the relevant repairer during the warranty period. A warranty defect is not a defect that is not caused by the constructional characteristics of the goods, but is the result of unprofessional intervention in their construction, unprofessional handling or mechanical damage.
Goods which show signs of damage by tearing, cutting, puncturing or penetration by projectiles or fragments are considered beyond repair.
