The GV 440 special quick release vest is designed to protect the user against the effect of bullets, fragments and other mechanical impacts, and is partially or fully (soft armour insert/additional hard armour plate) resistant to stabbing weapons.

Thanks to its design, the vest can be easily and rapidly put on and attached to the body without the assistance of another person. The vest is easy to put on and take off and allows quick removal in any emregency. The vest is equipped with a quick-release system which, especially in the event of a life-threatening emergency, guarantees a targeted, safe and rapid opening of the vest.

 

Ballistic protection

  • Soft armour insert - level III-A according to NIJ STD 0101.04
  • Hard armour plates ICW - maximal level IV. according to NIJ STD 0101.04

The front and back hard armour plates must always be used in combination with a soft armour insert - level III.A according to NIJ STD 0101.04.

 

Basic composition of the vest includes
