The GV 470 quick-release vest is designed to provide maximum ballistic protection as it has additional hard armour plates at the chest, back, sides, neck, groin and abdomen to complement the protection system to cover the major arteries and highly vulnerable body parts. The additional hard armour plates are ergonomically shaped to maintain maximum user comfort

The vest is equipped with a quick-release and quick fastening system to be easily and rapidly put on and taken off. The variable design allows for precise fixation to the body at the shoulders and hips. The vest has a horizontal Molle system to attach additional tactical accessories in maximum coverage.

 

Ballistic protection

  • Soft armour insert - level III.A according to NIJ STD 0101.04
  • Additional hard armour plates - chest, back, side  - level IV according to NIJ STD 0101.04
  • Additional hard armour plates - neck, abdominal, groin - level III+ according to NIJ STD 0101.04
