The special quick-release vest GV 471 is designed to protect the user against the effect of bullets, fragments and other mechanical impacts, partially or fully (soft armor insert/additional hard armor plate) resistant to stabbing weapons.

The vest is easy to put on and take off and allows quick removal in any crisis situation. The vest is equipped with a quick-release system which, especially in the event of a life-threatening emergency, guarantees a targeted, safe and rapid opening of the vest.

The design of the vest allows the vest to be precisely attached to the body without the assistance of another person. The additional plates fully cover the entire surface of the front part of the vest from the neck to the groin. Hereby, you can achieve the maximum resistance of the vest up to the level IV., including the hips.

 

Ballistic protection

  • Soft armor insert - level III-A according to NIJ STD 0101.04
  • ICW hard armor plates - level IV. according to NIJ STD 0101.04

Front and back hard armor plates must always be combined with a soft armor insert - level III.A according to NIJ STD 0101.04.
